I... read more Called to confirm in early June 2017. Was told rate was now $150 a night. This is illegal according to Illinois law. I have spoken several times to the clerks. I have left my number with them and the owner has not called me back and refuses to take my calls. I have filed a complaint the the Attorney Generals Office. Still waiting to hear back. I am NOT releasing my reservation. I will take this to court. Please everyone beware of this hotel. Pass this on to others. If you have a reservation call now. More

  I went to visit my son for two days. This place was nothing like the pictures show. It was the filthiest place I ever saw in my life.... read more The reception area had a lemonade cooler that looked like it was there for days. The carpets hadnt been cleaned in years. They tell us all of the downstairs rooms are dirty we need to put you upstairs. Door was broken, light in bathroom did not work. The curtains had stains on them. You couldnt see out of any windows because of the dirt. We left and never spent the night.

We checked in and got all our stuff into room and had... read more turned A/C on but it never cooled. The door was off the freezer portion of the mini fridge and it was frosted up. Found an old carton of McDonald’s food in the microwave and shower/tub had rust coming through. Informed front desk and we were moved to another room which appeared cleaner as tub not rusted, fridge was clean and door on freezer portion and no frost in freezer. The A/C unit in this room cooled it down nicely. However, walking across room I kicked a dog turd which was dried up-tossed that into the trash but finding it in the room made it hard to feel clean in the room-I don’t know their pet policy, so it’s possible someone snuck pet into room but I would hope with thorough cleaning you’d have found it. We brought our food as we were out hiking in the parks and wanted to be able to eat without driving back to a town; however the day of checkout on Sat., it had stormed, many roads flooded and hotel had many guests compared to during week when there were only 4-6 there. Out of coffee, only a few pastries were put out, I didn’t see any oatmeal, apples and waffles in pastry bin to... Price-can’t beat it, so my expectations were only for a clean, cool room with decent showers. Convenient as it’s only a half mile from tunnel hill trail but next time think I’ll stay in Ullin and road ride to trail. More
